with that you need a set of metal weights and adjustable dumbells and barbell.
that is a basic gym set up there that would work very well, the biggest problem is knowing how to train and what to actually do.
so you should start out with the most basic training routine that way you wouldn't get confused when training by trying to do too much.
so a workout of something like 3 times a week on workout one do flat bench press, with moderate weight for 8 to 12 reps (use this rep range for pretty much all your exercises), and do 3 warm up sets (you can do more reps on the warm ups), building up to your working weight for about 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps.
then do incline bench press the same as the amount of reps sets and warm ups, though warm up more if need be on any exercise in your gym.
next do flat dumbell bench press, then incline dumbell bench press.
next do shoulder presses with dumbells, of course have rest breaks between each exercises.
then finish routine with dumbell bicep curls and barbell curls.
next workout in a few days do legs and abdominals, do leg extensions and leg curls, bodyweight squats, bodyweight lunges, calf raises on a block or book, and finish with sit ups and crunches for the stomach.
next workout train back with dumbell rows, barbell rows, deadlifts, rear laterals and dumbell shrugs.
this makes up a basic but effective free gym workout each week, free gym workout after you have bought the gym equipment because the gym equipment you have pretty much forever whereas as with gym membership you have to pay gym membership each month or week or year etc.
though saying that if you are not confident training alone you might have to join a paying gym and get a gym instructor, as training alone can pose risks as well as benefits, its all do to how someone wants to train some people like to train in a real gym and some people like to train at home with there own weights.
some people learn in a real gym and then make there own home gym the benefits of paying to join a gym is that they have a vast array of equipment whereas your home gym set up might be pretty sparse of equipment and not as advanced as a paying gym membership.
i like to train at home, but another benefit of a real gym membership is that you will get to meet new people when you go to the gym, trouble is if you live in a big city like london gym membership can be very expensive whereas gym equipment will be cheap and only needs to be bought once.
picture is of a posh virgin active gym with a lovely swimming pool and sauna area.

my local gym is a virgin active i have not seen inside it, but from the outside it looks very nice, and a lot of fit and smart people walking in and out of the virgin active gym, though i couldn't afford to really join the virgin active gym or virgin active membership, it would be just to go in there and chill out in there swimming pool and sauna etc and do exercises i can't do at the home gym, as i like to train alone to get a better focus and don't really need all the fancy equipment all the time.
basic information in this video, just saying to get some basics like some dumbells and a training mat and some good running shoes.
